The new ChatBeacon Conversations feature is a powerful tool that enable your website visitors read their past conversations, resume them or start new ones. This is an effective time saver as the Visitor might be able to find answers in past conversations without the need to start a new one. Chat. Return. Resume!

How does it Work?

Adding the ChatBeacon Chat Window code to your website to allows your website visitors to initiate chats.

Visitors can see all their past conversations and choose to read or resume them, or they can start a new conversation.

With resumed conversations, Operators can easily review past messages by quickly scrolling up within the same conversation, or even review the visitor's past chat history. Additional chat history search is also available based on keywords, tags and more.

When visitors return to your website they will have access to their Past Conversations in the Chat Window. ChatBeacon can identify returning visitors based on the visitor ID stored in their browser history.

While viewing a previous conversation, the Visitor can easily resume it by sending a new message; the newly resumed chat will be routed to the last Operator if available, otherwise it will routed to the Department where other Operators may take over.
